The widespread use of visual references is a characteristic of the teaching of Natural Sciences. Therefore, studies on the use of educational resources for blind students are needed. The objective of this paper is to analyze how the science teaching regarding the use of educational resources for blind students are occurring in public schools in Sergipe, Northeast Brazil. Thus, we conducted semistructured interviews with three blind students of elementary school and their science teachers. The difficulties mentioned by the teachers focus primarily on the need of the use of visual references, and in the fact that they do not consider the didactic resources used by them adequate.
