This work deals with the use of the Child Behavior CkeckList (CBCL/6-18 years old) by mothers who were part of an Orientation to Parent's Group at the University Hospital. Six carers participated in the study. They provided information on abilities as well as behavioral, emocional and social functioning of the children. Amonsgt the results, five children were classified as 'non clinical'- they don't need psycological treatment, and only one was labelled in the 'clinical range'- demonstrating the necessity of observation.
