BACKGROUND: Cystic Fibrosis (CF) or mucoviscidosis is a genetic disease caused by changes in the long arm of chromosome 7 that causes defects in the production of CFTR (Cystic Fibrosis Transmembrane Transmittance Conductance). pulmonary.
