Percepção dos discentes de Secretariado Executivo da Universidade Federal de Sergipe sobre empreendedorismo

This research had as general objective to present a situational diagnosis about the entrepreneurship in the course of the Executive Secretariat of UFS, more specifically, verified the knowledge on the subject by the students; investigating if there was contact with the business education throughout the course; identify the interest of learners to perform. The justification came from its contemporaneousness, the new employment opportunities it can offer and to understand how this social phenomenon that may be latent for the students of the course of the Executive Secretariat, extending even to other areas of UFS higher education. The research was delineated through a field study and had as a social environment the UFS, being selected as a population, the students of the Executive Secretariat course composed in a random way, where a questionnaire was applied with the variables able to quantitatively evaluate the phenomenon. After analyzing the data, it was concluded that it is necessary to develop and present business options as well as forms of company within the organizations, so it is essential to insert a compulsory discipline of business education in the course curriculum, once it was analyzed by the data that the subject is already dormant in the students, but, the great majority is not aware of scientific basis in the entrepreneurship. Another relevant point would be a greater interaction with the UFS Entrepreneur, to stimulate the creation of a compulsory discipline of entrepreneurship and in the pedagogical projects of the courses and, thus, to give the students a way to implement what is learned in the courseEssa pesquisa teve como objetivo geral apresentar um diagnóstico situacional sobre o empreendedorismo no curso de Secretariado Executivo da UFS, mais especificamente, verificou o conhecimento sobre o tema pelos discentes; investigando se houve contato com a educação empreendedora ao longo do curso; identificar o interesse dos discentes para empreender. A justificativa veio da sua contemporaneidade, das novas oportunidades de trabalho que pode oferecer e compreender como esse fenômeno social, que pode estar latente para os alunos do curso de Secretariado Executivo, ampliando inclusive para outras áreas de educação superior da UFS. A pesquisa foi delineada através de um estudo de campo e teve como ambiente social a UFS, sendo selecionados como população, os alunos do curso de Secretariado Executivo e foi composta de forma aleatória, tendo-se aplicado questionário com as variáveis capazes de avaliar quantitativamente o fenômeno. Após análise dos dados, concluiu-se que se faz necessário desenvolver e apresentar opções de negócios, bem como formas de empreender dentro das organizações, de maneira que se faz essencial a inserção de disciplina obrigatória de educação empreendedora na grade curricular do curso, já que foi analisado pelos dados que o tema está latente nos alunos, mas, a sua grande maioria não possui conhecimento de base científica sobre empreendedorismo.
