Juventude e ocupações culturais em Aracaju : da arte ao protesto

In Aracaju, as well as in other Brazilian capitals, it is possible to identify the formation of youth groups that occupy public spaces to develop open cultural encounters, focused on various artistic activities, especially music. This research results from participant observation, semi-structural interviews and material analysis (images, videos and social networks) of three of these manifestations: the Open Essay, the Lower and the Clandestine Sarau. Between 2013 and 2016, they promoted cultural expression events in public places, in an autonomous and spontaneous way. The groups present approximations regarding the public profile, the format of the events, the musical styles, and the political stance they assume, with demands on access to culture, artistic development and the right to the city. Thus, this work brings an analysis of events based on the literature that covers youth, urban anthropology and cultural occupations. Thus, I seek to think of art in encounters as a tool of political action, of claiming not only physical spaces, but also of expression, of creation and of speech.Em Aracaju, assim como em outras capitais do Brasil, é possível identificar a formação de grupos juvenis que ocupam espaços públicos para desenvolver encontros culturais abertos, voltados para atividades artísticas diversas, em especial, a música. Esta pesquisa resulta de observação participante, entrevistas semiestruturais e analise materiais (imagens, vídeos e redes sociais) de três destas manifestações: o Ensaio Aberto, o Sarau de Baixo e o Clandestino. Estes promoveram, entre os anos de 2013 e 2016, eventos de expressão cultural em locais públicos, de forma autônoma e espontânea. Os grupos apresentam aproximações em relação ao perfil de público, ao formato dos eventos, aos estilos musicais, e a postura política que assumem, com reivindicações sobre o acesso à cultura, ao fomento artístico e ao direito à cidade. Assim, este trabalho traz uma analise dos eventos tendo como base a literatura que abrange juventude, antropologia urbana e ocupações culturais.
