The development of composite materials became a quite attractive research field, due to their use in technological sectors. The current study faces the challenge to prioritize ecological benefits, cost reduction, increased quality of finished products and improve the processing techniques in the use of raw materials. Thus, it studies mechanical properties that include traction, flexion, compression and hardness of the composite formed from the combination of epoxy resin and powder of granitic rocks from Sergipe Fold Belt, which is located in Nossa Senhora da Glória County, Sergipe State.
