Aplicação de métodos bioarqueológicos em esqueletos históricos e pré-históricos: analisando ossos inumados e cremados

The Bioarchaeology, Archaeology and Forensic Anthropology, have worked together in data recovery in order to reconstruct the past through the skeletal remains and the context in which they were inserted. This study aimed to present the effectiveness of the application of bioarchaeological and forensic methods in the analysis performed in historical material and cremated prehistoric, trying through the bones, contribute not only to the osteobiográfica identification of individuals but also to the collection of information archaeological context, including the funerary rituals and all that they represent in order to collaborate with the production of knowledge. The analysis resulted in the understanding of the ritual process in which the bones were involved, and in the diagnosis of gender, age and paleopathology of individuals as well as in understanding the taphonomic and produced by burning changes.A Bioarqueologia, a Arqueologia e a Antropologia Forense, tem trabalhado juntas na recuperação de dados, a fim de reconstruir o passado através dos remanescentes ósseos e o contexto em que estavam inseridos. O presente trabalho buscou apresentar a eficácia da aplicação dos métodos bioarqueológicos e forenses nas análises realizadas em material histórico e pré-histórico cremado, tentando através dos ossos, contribuir não apenas com a identificação osteobiográfica dos indivíduos, mas também, com a coleta de informações de âmbito arqueológico, compreendendo os rituais funerários e tudo o que eles representam, a fim de colaborar com a produção de conhecimento. As análises resultaram na compreensão de parte do processo ritual em que os ossos estiveram envolvidos, e no diagnóstico de sexo, idade e paleopatologia dos indivíduos, bem como na compreensão das alterações tafonômicas e das alterações produzidas pela queima.Laranjeiras, S
