GOAL: to describe the indice of vocal disturbs, signs and symptoms in the vocal fatigue of university teachers on the traditional methodology, to compare the findings of the screening of vocal disturbs in agree with the gender and moment of the data collect, if before or after the period of class. METHOD: participated in this research 30 teachers of the University Federal of Serigy. The method that was used was descriptive and comparative with the probabilistic sample, permeating by the quantitative method with statistic analysis. In this one, were analysed these variables: age, gender, moment of collect and teachers experience.
