Research into the Acoustic Transmission of Open and Closed Windows. The project will involve undertaking the following tasks; 1. A thorough review of current knowledge/literature on acoustic losses through windows (open/closed), and the preparation of a testing methodology. 2. Carry out acoustic testing of the relevant practical situations likely to be encountered in the field, including, but limited to: window type, size, glazing, and construction; the extent to which window is open; and its angle of incidence to the sound source
