This thesis deals with the simulation of the dynatnic mechanical behavior of biological tissues, in a real-time context. It proposes methods and algorithms to simulate topological changes induced by interactions between the virtual model and a human operator. In the first chapter, the foundations of continuum mecanics are presented, followed by the computer science approach to model deformable bodies. In the second chapter, an interactive non-linear heterogeneous model of the human liver is proposed. The non-linear behavior is modeled using non-linear connectors, responding to a polynomial law.
