Harmful cabling effects are well known by designers of power electronics converters. They try to decrease over voltages, losses and EMC interactions. However, interconnection design is still complex because of electromagnetic phenomena, which are not easy to predict during the design step. Classical methods and techniques based on the designer experience are not suitable to develop complex structures as ones used in industrial applications.Firstly, a generic cabling model based on input/output terminals has been proposed.
