Most of childern in Bunda Ghifari Kidergarten use mother tongue (Madura Languange) in their daily activity. Concering childern’s languange development, it is recommmended for them not only learn their mother tongue. It is based in the idea that the more one increases his vocabulary, the more he advances his language skill. To examine and improve childern’s vocabulary competency, the researcher used hand puppets as media for story telling because hand media is approproate and interesting for childern. The research based on the analysis that implemented story telling method by hand puppets media, Childern were able to repeat the sentences that they had listened for up to 85%, follow simple sentences...
