The worldwide trend tovards the use of blood replacement in surgery with significant blood los. There are many complications of blood transfusion and without the use altematives risk cannot be prevented. We used new blood management strategies with erythropoiesis stimulants for the prehababilitation of patients in colorectal surgery. The goal of the stady was to improve the outcome anaesthesia, reducing risk and complication in patients with two different perioperative blood management strategies
