An automated methodology to obtain the power profile at an early stage of the design flow of asynchronous circuits is presented in this work. Three tools for the design and the analysis of the circuits where developed at the TIMA laboratory. The paper shows how a circuit can be analyzed at the beginning of the design flow to be able to choose the right architecture for the optimum design in terms of power consumption and size of the circuit
