Additive manufacturing (AM) is an evolving technology that offers distinct advantages over conventional subtractive manufacturing by fabricating a variety of complex-shaped parts with mass customization. Selective laser melting (SLM), electron beam melting (EBM), and fused filament fabrication (FFF) are popular AM processes.
