Isogeometric analysis method is a new approach for physical simulation and analysis based on the exact geometry representation of CAD models directly. From the viewpoint of geometric computing, we present a review on the basic framework of isogeometric analysis method, and the related work on geometric design and computing for isogeometric analysis. The research progress on analysis-suitable parameterization of computational domain, analysis-suitable spline theory, isogeometric collocation method, parallel computing for isogeometric analysis is introduced in details. Finally a few future directions of geometric computing problems in isogeometric analysis are presented
