The magnetic properties of single crystal europium oxide thin films were analyzed using x-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD). The magnetic circular dichroism was measured as function of temperature for EuM 5 and M 4 absorption edges in thin films of EuO. The M 5 edge was resolved into same helicity dependence as M 4 edge and opposite helicity dependence. The results show that ratio of absorption peaks with similar helicity dependence remained constant as function of temperature
