The actuality of my research is given by the fact that on 19 February 2020 the European Commission published its Communication on "European Data Strategy" and the "White Paper" on Artificial Intelligence (AI), in which it called for the development of a specific regulation on AI. Why is this important? On the one hand, the application of AI methods is becoming more widespread, but at the same time its use raises burning issues that need to be addressed jointly at European level. On the other hand, a good AI is based on the right amount and quality of data and their understandable processing, so the technology is not negligible from a data protection point of view either.
