We consider mechanical simulations in moving image synthesis applications, especially in real time, such as video games or simulators. Interactive physical simulation has made large progress in the recent years, but it has not yet reached enough maturity to be usable by non-specialist over a large variety of models. We present contributions toward this goal. Soft object models are generally based on deformable cells.
