Laura Yasmin Zarate is a senior at Murray State University majoring in Global Language/Spanish and minoring in Public and Community Health. Though born and raised in West Tennessee, she grew up in a bilingual home that gave her a passion for her culture and language. She has a variety of interests which include, but are not limited to language, Marvel, reading, video games, and current events. After graduating, she plans to follow her passions and work in a Spanish-related field or continue her studies in Spanish or Public and Community Health.
