The single mother population is steady growing every day in post-secondary education. As of 2016, nearly 42% of single parents are community college students and 58% of the single parent students are attending a 4-year institute (public and private). The single mother population has doubled since then. In this paper, we will discuss how there are several available support systems that can assist in advancing to the road of achievement and personal growth.
