abstract EGU05-A-04852The aim of this contribution is to present current activities in the frames of the European Action COST724. The main objective of the Action is to develop further within a European framework the science underpinning space weather applications, as well as exploring methods for providing a comprehensive range of space services to a variety of users, based on modeling and monitoring of the sun-Earth system. The action inaugurated in November 2003 and presently 23 countries jointed which is very promising for the future of space weather in Europe.
