A good rater reliability is one of important factors to achieved a better result of scoring . This research aimed to know the two English teachers’ inter-rater reliability by having them scored the same students text writing. The teachers taught at the same grade, both of them taught 11 year students of SMA Negri Bareng. The teachers scored the students’ text writing by using an analytical assessment consist of five aspects of writing, and they were given the scoring guideline by the researcher. This research showed that the inter-rater reliability of eleventh grade English teachers’ at SMA Negri Bareng Jombang in scoring the students’ text writing was having a low inter-rater reliability.
