This interview was conducted by Baylee Hughes with Amanda Cavin as part of the “Being LGBTQIA+ at Winthrop” Oral History Project spearheaded by Baylee Hughes. Amanda was a post-traditional student at Winthrop graduating a Bachelor of Science from the College of Educations (2015) and later with a Master of Education degree (2017). Amanda has worked for Winthrop since 2019 as the Director of the EagleSTEM Scholars Program.
