As a country we present ourselves as a land for people to come and seek refuge but we make it very difficult. As a country we are very hypocritical when it comes to immigration. The statue of liberty stands with its accepting words written on it but we do not live by those words as a country. I will explore the Artistic responses to the border crisis and the impact it has on both sides of the border. I will also be looking at the contrast between the border crisis in Ukraine compared to our own. I will be looking at Tanya Aguiñiga and Tom Keifer\u27s work.https://ecommons.udayton.edu/stander_posters/3642/thumbnail.jp
