This panel builds on the last Global Voices Symposium to continue to engage the campus community on Africa in Our Century. It is a topic which is emphasized in the history of modern African course. Presenters in this session address different research topics to help us to understand contemporary Africa. In doing so, they challenge us to more understand the complexity of this continent, and Africa’s contribution to the contemporary world.
