Efektivitas Penggunaan Media Audiovisual Dan Leaflet Terhadap Pengetahuan Sikap Dan Praktik Perawatan Nifas Di Puskesmas Sambi

Maternal mortality in Indonesia still relatively high, according health profile Central Java 2019, most of during puerperium due to lack knowledge in postpartum care and caused mothers to be less good at responding to and practicing health for themselves. It is necessary to increase knowledge, attitudes, and practices postpartum care by providing health education using attractive media such as audiovisuals and leaflets. The purpose of study to aim determine difference in effectiveness between health education using audiovisual media and leaflets to increase knowledge, attitudes, and practices of postpartum care at Puskesmas Sambi. Type of research is experimental, using two group pretest posttest design. The research sample is 32 postpartum mothers at Puskesmas Sambi which is divided into 16 postpartum mothers using audiovisual media and 16 using leaflets. Sampling using total sampling method. The research instrument using questionnaire. Data analysis using Wilcoxon and Mann Withney. The results of Wilcoxon before health education showed that respondents had moderate knowledge, attitudes, and practices and there was an increase after health education. Mann Withney results obtained p-value = 0,006 on knowledge, attitude p-value = 0,010, while practice p-value = 0,002 it can be concluded that health education using audiovisual media is more effective than leaflet in improving knowledge, attitudes, and practices postpartum care at Puskesmas Sambi
