Pengaruh Lingkungan Sekitar Dan Tingkat Pendidikan Orang Tua Terhadap Minat Melanjutkan Pendidikan Kejenjang Perguruan Tinggi Pada Siswa Sma Di Desa Plosokerep

The purpose of this study was to find out: 1) the influence of the surrounding environment on the interest in continuing education to college in senior high school students in Plosokerep Village, 2) the influence of parental education on the interest in continuing education to college in high school students in Plosokerep Village, 3) the influence of environment and parental education on the intention”to continue their education to higher”education for high school students in Plosokerep Village. This type of research is quantitative research using a survey design. The population of this research is 100 students. The samples taken were 80 students. The data collection method used a questionnaire method, which was tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis method used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study obtained the regression equation Y = 11.412 + 0.578X1 + 0.182X2. Shows that interest in continuing college is influenced by the surrounding environment and parental education. The surrounding environment influences the interest in continuing education to higher education based on the t-test with a t-count value of 6.416 > t-table 0.6776 with a significance value of 0.000 0.6776 with a significance value of 0.047 Ftable 3.11 with a significant value of 0.000
