Pembentukan Karakter Peserta Didik Kelas VIII Pasca Pandemi Melalui Pembelajaran Aqidah Akhlak di SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022

This research is motivated by students who have been studying at home online for almost 2 years starting to leave the discipline applied at school so that teachers and principals of SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surakarta begin to try to reshape good characters and habits that are often done by students at school. and to be applied also in everyday life. What will be discussed in this study are describing the implementation of Aqidah Akhlak learning for class VIII at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surakarta, describing the character formation of class VIII students at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surakarta, and identifying supporting and inhibiting factors in the process of character building for class VIII students at SMP Muhammadiyah. 4 Surakarta. This study uses qualitative field research, through a phenomenological approach, data collection is carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation and also uses triangulation techniques. The results of this study are the implementation of learning aqidah morals in class VIII at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surakarta is the same as other learning, except that there are a few additions, namely, after learning students are given the task of recording behavior that has been done honestly, character building of class VIII students in SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surakarta, namely by coaching every Monday in their respective classes and learning aqidah morals, and supporting factors in building the character of class VIII students at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surakarta, namely a harmonious family and able to set a good example, a good surrounding environment , peers who invite to do good activities, schools that support and facilitate students in doing good things, self-awareness of students to do good. The inhibiting factors in forming the character of class VIII students at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surakarta are a family that is not harmonious, a bad environment, peers who invite them to do bad things, and there is no self-awareness to do good things.
