Hubungan Antara Persepsi Citra Tubuh Dengan Kepercayaan Diri Pada Remaja Putri Di Pontianak

This study aims to determine the relationship between body image perception and self-confidence in adolescent girls in Pontianak. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive relationship between perception of body image and self-confidence. The subjects in this study were teenage girls in the second grade of high school in Pontianak who were taken using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 218 subjects who were in accordance with the characteristics of the research subjects. Methods of collecting data using quantitative methods through body image perception scale and self-confidence scale which have been modified according to the characteristics of the subject. Analysis of correlation data using product moment. Based on data analysis, the coefficient value of body image perception variable (X) and self-confidence (Y) is 0.522, which means that there is a significant relationship between body image perception and self-confidence in adolescent girls in Pontianak.
