One of the factors of work accidents that comes from smoke and harmful gases in industrial areas. Work Protection is needed by workers so they can feel safe and comfortable to completing their work. Safety protocol commonly used is usually a mask to prevent harmful fumes and gases from being inhaled. In addition to security protocols, early anticipation tools are also needed to improve work safety that can be accessed via smart phones, considering that in the industrial era 4.0, as now almost all humans have smart phones. Therefore, it is necessary to have a smoke detector and dangerous gas in the work area that is installed on the helmet project and will be used while working because it uses a 3.7 Volt Lithium-Ion battery power supply. The tool is assembled using an internet-based Wemos module from the Arduino family which can provide smartphone notifications on the blynk application, and sound notifications on the helmet because it uses a buzzer. The sensor used is the MQ-2 sensor because of the sensor specifications that can detect as soon as possible, carbon monoxide (CO) gas, and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).
