Abstract

Low birth Weight (LBW) and non-exclusive breastfeeding could cause stunting on toddlers. Infants with LBW were at risk of slower growth and more susceptible to infectious diseases. Exclusive breastfeeding was beneficial in protecting infants from digestive tract infections that cause malnutrition. Prevalence of stunting in Mojotengah Village is 34,2%, higher than cut-off which is <20%. This study aimed to determine the correlation between LBW and exclusive breastfeeding with stunting incident on toddlers aged 12-59 months in Mojotengah Village.
