The execution of the mortgage object has several conditions and procedures that must be met in order to have a valid legal force. There are still many people who do not understand what the purpose of the auction itself is and how it is implemented even though there are laws that regulate it. Thus, there is still no legitimacy to the execution of the auction on the mortgage of the parties who submitted the auction. The method used by the author in this study is a normative approach because in this study the legal aspects and the validity of a document in the auction execution process for mortgage objects at the Surakarta Auction Office are examined.
