Nilai – Nilai Nasionalisme Dalam Film Indonesia (Analisis Semiotika Roland Barthes Pada Film GUNDALA)

Modern mass media channels that continue to grow one of them is film, considering that film becomes one of the means of entertainment that is quite in demand by various circles of society. Movies can influence the attitudes and behaviors of the audience based on the content of the message conveyed through a series of stories contained in the film. Gundala is a superhero movie that is full of patriotism and nationalism values in it. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach as well as data collection through observations from Gundala film documentation. The subject of the study was gundala's film itself and then observed several scenes involving the values of nationalism. The purpose of the study was to explain how the values of nationalism were portrayed in gundala films as well as using roland barthes model semiotic analysis methods based on signifiers and signified in the stages of denotation, connotations to myths. This research found six values of nationalism depicted in gundala film, among others, proud and loving the Indonesian homeland, willing to sacrifice and prioritize common interests rather than personal interests, willing in helping the country and dare to do something when something happens that is not desirable, the principle of justice is upheld to the country by dividing the task according to their respective abilities, participating in preserving and developing one's own culture, loyalty to the state by keeping the promise of carrying out its duties and obligations
