This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the method of reading serial images with reading interest in children, whether the method is effective and efficient. Respondents in this study were elementary school children with an age range of 7-8 years, the total respondents in this study were 10 children with a specification of 9 children being female and 1 child being male. The data collection technique in this study used the Purposive Sampling Technique. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a scale collection tool with a Likert scale where the scale is used to measure the respondents' perceptions of reading interest before being given reading training activities for children.
