ABSTRACT Karen Keisler: A Program Evaluation of Routine Depression Screening of Adults Between Ages 18-65 in Primary Care (Under the direction of Leslie Sharpe) Depression is one of the most common mental health disorders in the United States (U.S.) and can result in severe impairments that interfere with one’s ability to carry out major life activities (National Center for Health Statistics [NCHS], 2012).
