Dugotrajna stabilnost oksidnih filmova na Ti i legurama Ti ima odlučujuću ulogu pri odabiru ovih biokompatibilnih materijala za izradu različitih medicinskih i dentalnih implantata. U ovom radu ispitano je elektrokemijsko i korozijsko ponašanje Ti i Ti-6V-4Al legure u slanoj otopini fosfatnog pufera (PBS, pH = 7.4) na 37 o C (tj. u simuliranoj fiziološkoj otopini u ljudskom tijelu) praćenjem vremenske promjene potencijala otvorenog strujnog kruga, primjenom polarizacijih metoda te elektrokemijske impedancijske spektroskopije.
