La lecture contemporaine du problème de Molyneux

The ambition of this study is not to answer the problem of Molyneux but really to have a new lighting on the perceptive intermodality. That is why, it is necessary to approach at first, the origins of the problem as long from the point of view of the antique philosophy with Aristote, and of the empiricists of XVIIth and XVIIth centuries. Secondly, we are going to approach the contemporary treatment of the question by envisaging at the same time the psychophysiological processing, in particular in the field of the cognitive psychology as well as its contemporary philosophic treatmentin particular by the answers which bring Bach-Y-Rita or Campbell. The stake being to emphasize the new tracks of reflections which brings the science and the treatment of the question by means of the intermodality.L'ambition de cette étude n'est pas de répondre au problème de Molyneux mais véritablement d'avoir un éclairage nouveau sur l'intermodalité perceptive. C'est pourquoi, il est nécessaire d'aborder dans un premier temps les origines du problème tant sur le plan de la philosophie antique avec Aristote, que sur celui des philosophes empiristes du XVIIe et XVIIe siècles. Dans un second temps, nous allons aborder le traitement contemporain de la question en envisageant à la fois le traitement psycho-physiologique (notamment dans le domaine de la psychologie cognitive) ainsi que son traitement philosophique contemporain notamment par les réponses qu'apportent Bach-Y-Rita ou Campbell, l'enjeu étant de mettre en valeur les nouvelles pistes de réflexions qu'apporte la science et le traitement de la question par le biais de l'intermodalité
