E agora? Propensão dos estudantes de contabilidade a adotarem a educação a distância após o ensino remoto

The research sought to verify the propensity of undergraduate students in Accounting to take the subjects proposed in the curriculum structure of the course in the face-to-face, distance or hybrid modality, after the experience with remote teaching. In order to do this, the methodology encompasses descriptive research and a quantitative approach. In this study, data collection was carried out through the application of a questionnaire deposited on the Google Forms platform. The sample is composed of 178 students enrolled in the 5th and 10th period in Accounting course of a public institution in Minas Gerais who proposed to participate in the research. The results indicated that, despite the adaptation in the teaching format due to the pandemic period, the students, in the possibility of offering the disciplines, would choose for the most part, because they take the disciplines whith specific Accounting content, while the courses offered by other areas of knowledge (Management, Economics, Law and Mathematics/Statistics) are preferably chosen for distance learning. Some of the reasons that affected this choice are the lack of interaction among professors and colleagues and the difficulty in maintaining focus and concentration during remote classes. Although, for the most part, opting for face-to-face teaching, students claim to have no problems with the technology and structure used in the virtual learning environment.Pesquisa sem auxílio de agências de fomentoTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação)A pesquisa buscou verificar a propensão dos estudantes de graduação em Ciências Contábeis a cursar as disciplinas propostas na estrutura curricular do curso na modalidade presencial, a distância ou híbrida, após a experiência com o ensino remoto. Para isso, a metodologia abrange a pesquisa descritiva e a abordagem quantitativa. Neste estudo, foi realizado o levantamento dos dados por meio da aplicação de questionário depositado na plataforma Google Forms. A amostra é composta por 178 estudantes matriculados entre o 5º e 10º período no curso de Ciências Contábeis de uma instituição pública de Minas Gerais que se propuseram a participar da pesquisa. Os resultados indicaram que, apesar da adaptação no formato do ensino em virtude do período pandêmico, os discentes, na possibilidade de oferta das disciplinas, escolheriam em sua maioria, por cursarem as disciplinas com conteúdo específico de contabilidade de forma presencial, enquanto as disciplinas ofertadas por outras áreas de conhecimento (Administração, Economia, Direito e Matemática/Estatística) são escolhidas, preferencialmente, para o ensino a distância. Alguns dos motivos que afetaram essa escolha são a falta de interação entre professores e colegas e a dificuldade em manter o foco e concentração durante as aulas remotas.
