Images and GIS from an Archaeological Evaluation at Wheatpieces, Walton Cardiff, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire 2021

This collection comprises site data (images and GIS) from a programme of archaeological work on land to the south of Wheatpieces, Walton Cardiff, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, undertaken In October 2021, by Cotswold Archaeology. Initially three trenches were excavated, with one expanded to form a small excavation area. A series of Roman pits, possibly with a gravel extraction function, were recorded in the west of the site, along with an undated ditch. Evidence for ridge and furrow cultivation was recorded across the site
