International audienceThe management of electrical power networksduring peak load periods is a an issue of growing concern in thecontext of the transition to the smart grid. This paper presents anoverview of solutions to deal with peak load constraints byimplementing demand side management solutions. Demandresponse has been experimented on an office building site, in theGreenLys smart grid demonstration project. A case study of theexperimental campaign, with associated results will be presented. Finally, concluding remarks on the benefits of demand responseand future perspectives will be exposed
