15-lipoxygenase-1 (15-LOX-1) is an enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of inflammatory signaling molecules having key regulatory roles in immune responses and numerous diseases, such as asthma, COPD, atherogenesis, diabetes, stroke, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease, as well as cancer.
