This volume presents various contributions to the fascinating field of Cultural Transfer research. Notwithstanding the clear differences in approach, focus, and theoretical or conceptual orientation, a common ground can be found in the results. The study of the circulation of Dutch literature as conducted in this book produces valuable general insights that might warrant further reflection. I will try to tease out a handful of common strands, on the object level, regarding the specific processes studied, but also on the level of approach and methodology.
