It is proved that for a class of parabolic distributed parameter systems with unbounded control and observation there exists a finite dimensional compensator using dynamic output feedback. Finite dimensional means here that the dynamics relating the input to the output is finite dimensional. A constructive design algorithm is presented and several examples are considered.<br/
