Laparosopy is now a well established tool in abdominal surgery. More often it is used in acute abominal situations. We present our experience with laparoscopy and laparoscopic treatment in patients with acute small bowel obstruction. Although it is technically challenging, in carefully selected patients laparoscopy and laparoscopic treatment is feasible and a valid option for treatment.</p
