We give a partial answer to a question raised by Bratteli and Robinson, by showing that the mean entropy equals the mean conditional entropy for a large class of translation invariant states. In the general case we show that equality holds if and only if the mean conditional entropy is upper semicontinuous in the w*-topology
We prove that the entropy map for countable Markov shifts of finite entropy is upper semi-continuous...
Abstract The main purpose of the paper is to extend the results of Ellerman (Int. J. Semant. Comput....
We give examples showing that the Kolmogorov-Sinai entropy generator theorem is false for both upper...
We give a partial answer to a question raised by Bratteli and Robinson, by showing that the mean ent...
Using a definition of conditional entropy given by Hanen and Neveu [5, 10, 11] we discuss in this pa...
We consider some questions concerning the monotonicity properties of entropy and of mean entropy for...
In [1] the notion of topological entropy was introduced as a flow-isomorphism invariant. It was conj...
AbstractAlgebraic (or finitely correlated) states are translation-invariant states on an infinite te...
The Rényi entropy of general order unifies the well-known Shannon entropy with several other entropy...
Properties of measurable and topological dynamics often have been studied together[11, 12, 18]. It i...
We introduce a concept of measure-theoretic entropy for flows and study its invariance under measure...
