The purpose of the study to describe the process of cooperative learning Student Team Achievement Division (STAD)  in order to increase learning activity and achievement in learning mathematics of class VII B SMP Negeri 2 Kokap. The type of this research is a classroom action research. The subject of the research are the students grade VII B SMP Negeri 2 Kokap. It consists of 23 students. The object of this research is learning activity and achievement in learning mathematics through model Student Team Achievement Division (STAD). The result of the study shows that after applying this learning model, activity and achievement has an increase.
