The Peculiarities of Intensive Foreign Languages Teaching

The article deals with the question of the essence of the notions “intensive education” and “intensive foreign languages teaching”. The author dwells upon the main theoretical concepts and classification of modern intensive methods of foreign languages teaching. The significance of intensive education in the modern system of school education and higher education is analyzed. It is pointed out that the chief peculiarity of the intensive foreign languages teaching is the development of communicative skills without taking into consideration the importance of formation of language skills. That's why the author has worked out the experimental course of the intensive English grammar teaching. Its novelty is in the development of the mechanisms of the English speech by means of repetition of the new material and the material studied before in language and speech training exercises
