International audienceThe Coëby necropolis site has been known at least since 1986 and has been the subject of systematic inventories. Since 2010, it has been the object of surveys and programmed excavations led by Philippe Gouézin (Gouézin, 2011, 2013, 2016, 2018, 2019). In 2020, the attention was focused on a cairn (TRED 8) where the sepulchral area could have been used as a votive place, notably because of the erection of an anthropomorphic stele under which two ceramics of the Middle Neolithic II type were found in place.
