Modelo de madurez del perfil de visibilidad web de la científica en universidades colombianas

The university visibility seen from the university rankings, has become in recent years a quality measure of the universities (Montané et al., 2017), Due to the positioning in the university rankings and consequently to the visibility that these generate, the universities can capture a greater amount of resources coming from the cost of their enrollments, agreements with other universities, government resources, among others. Taking into account the importance of visibility for universities, the main objective of this research was to design a maturity model of the visibility profile of scientific research in Colombian universities. This research was analyzed analytically with a mixed approach, it was carried out through the study of qualitative and quantitative variables, applying categorization techniques, and correlational statistical analysis using linear regression analysis, in the SPSS 25 free access version software. The data to be considered were taken from sources associated with the visibility of the research, such as: different university rankings, Scimago, Scopus, university web portals, web portal of the Colombian Ministry of Education, Sciences, academic networks, social networks, among other sites. Of interest, For this research, 100% of the universities ranked in the Simago Colombia ranking were taken as a sample, as a result of the design of a maturity model of the visibility profile of the research in Colombian universities was obtained, which allows Universities measure their levels of visibility in terms of research and also know what strategies to apply to improve their levels of visibility, and the opportunity to categorize themselves in these university rankings.La visibilidad universitaria mirada desde los rankings universitarios se ha convertido en los últimos años en una medida de calidad de las universidades (Montané et al., 2017), gracias al posicionamiento en los rankings universitarios y por consiguiente a la visibilidad que estos generan, las universidades pueden captar una mayor cantidad de recursos provenientes del costo de sus matrículas, convenios con otras universidades, recursos gubernamentales entre otros. Teniendo en cuenta la importancia que tiene para las universidades la visibilidad, el objetivo principal de esta investigación fue el diseño de un modelo de madurez del perfil de la visibilidad de la investigación en universidades colombianas. Esta investigación se afrontó de manera analítica con un enfoque mixto, se realizó a través del estudio de variables cualitativas y cuantitativas, aplicando técnicas de categorización, y análisis estadístico correlacional usando análisis de regresión lineal, con el software SPSS 25 versión de acceso libre. Los datos a considerar se tomaron de fuentes asociadas a la visibilidad de la investigación , tales como: diferentes rankings universitarios, Scimago, Scopus, portales web universitarios, portal web del ministerio de educación colombiano, Minciencias , redes académicas, redes sociales, entre otros sitios de interés, Para esta investigación se tomó como muestra el 100% de las universidades rankeadas en el ranking Simago Colombia, como resultado se obtuvo el diseño de un modelo de madurez del perfil de visibilidad de la investigación en universidades colombianas, el cual permite a las universidades medir sus niveles de visibilidad en cuanto a investigación y además saber que estrategias debe aplicar para poder mejorar sus niveles de visibilidad, a sí mismo la oportunidad de categorizarse en estos rankings universitarios
